An academic co-operation exists between MGIaS (JECRC Foundation) and Leibniz University, Hannover (LUH), Germany. This provides opportunities for the mutual exchange of students and faculty between LUH, Germany and MGIaS. Some of the MGIaS students have already completed their training and project work at the summer schools at Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany. This year too, a few students will participate in the summer schools. Besides, the visiting faculty from Germany will organize workshops and summer schools for the students and teachers of the Institute. One such interaction session was organized at MGIaS in February 2008, in which Prof. Erich Barke, President, LUH, Germany and Dr. Birgit Barden, Head, International Relation, LUH guided the students.
